Robinson is a black Hemingway. What's a Hemingway? I'm glad you asked. The story goes that the author, Ernest Hemingway, was a cat fancier. A Maine ship captain gave him a cat the Hemingway kept at his retreat in Key West. That cat had an extra toe on each paw. That cat's kittens had extra toes, as did theirs (Hemingway was a great author but didn't know diddly about spaying and neutering). Today the descendents of that cat still live on the Key West estate, now a museum, cared for by the staff. And now you know the rest of the story!!!
