Foster Update 11/4/11: Priana, or Laci as I named her is so sweet, friendly and likes to be near me.  I've never had a cat  that enjoyed having a bed of her own like Laci does.  At night she curls up next to me, but always remains on alert to run off my other cat if he decides to join us.  She does not get along well
with other cats and she is very territorial.  I have only briefly observed her with a dog.  At that time she  watched it from my bed and did not show fear or any aggression toward the dog.  She has this beautiful "H" on her right thigh....maybe I should have named her "Honey"??? She eats
dry food.  She is not into playing.  I have tried to entice her with a father wand, but she is not interested.....would rather sit and watch for the other cat.  At meal time if I have not noticed that the dish is empty she will sit and wait until it is filled again.  She has been in the shelter system since April. Shifted around a lot or had to stay in a cage.  Even though she does not do well here, at least she is free to roam some when I am at home.  I feel with the right person showing patience and love she would settle in and make a wonderful companion.

Priana is a beautiful de-clawed black and white kitty. She was taken from another shelter that was full, and she would have been euthanized because her as her time was up. PLEASE NOTE THAT PRIANA NEEDS TO BE THE ONLY CAT IN THE HOUSEHOLD.

Foster Update 10/11/11: Priana has been with me four weeks.  She is a friendly lady who deserves a wonderful home.  As soon as she was allowed to roam free in my house she claimed my bed as her place.  She is very sweet and enjoys being talked to and petted.  She also likes to be brushed gently and sleeps in her bed when left during the day.  I thought she might be a good companion for my own cat Scotty.  However, she does not want to share me. She does answer me when I talk to her, especially when it is time to eat.  At night she cuddles up nicely and is on guard to run off Scotty when he gets on the bed.  For a single person or a couple looking for a laid back pet she would make a wonderful companion.  She just needs her own special home where she is "Queen" and she gets all the love and attention that this special lady deserves.

Foster Update 07.17.11:  Priana got a bath within the first few minutes of getting to her foster home.  As you can imagine, she was not entirely pleased about the bath...but was okay.  She did not allow any discontent about the bath prevent her from displaying her sweet personality soon after.  She very quickly settled in, enjoyed her big room, and loved receiving attention from her foster mom.

Foster Update 07.20.11:  Priana has only been in her new foster home for a few days now but she has adjusted very quickly.  She does not tend to hide.  In fact, she greets me at her door as she is still segrated from the resident cat so that they can both get comfortable with each others scent before the introduction.  Priana approaches me for affection, and not only lays by my feet but sometimes on them.

Foster Update 07.27.11:  Priana is a pretty calm girl.  There is not much that bothers her.  She appears to just be glad to be provided a home in which to roam, a bed on which to relax, and some warm feet at which to lay.

Foster Update 08.06.11:  When i am working at the computer, Priana loves to weave in and out of my feet.  She loves to get a little attention.

The resident cat does not seem to appreciate foster kitties so we are keeping the resident cat and Priana separated.

Priana qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program! If adopted by a senior (55+) her adoption fee is $25.
