Mia and her sister Roxy were found by a policeman who brought them to us to find their forever home. They are very friendly and would love to go home together.

Foster Update 2/11/2011 -

Mia has always been a really sweet cat, and so very loving. She can be a bit picky with her affections and tends to favor the one who feeds and cares for her. It takes her a bit longer to get used to new things then it does her sister, but when she does she adjusts well. Although bigger then her sister, she lets her have her way and is very patient. She, like her sister has gotten a lot bigger and a lot chunkier since we brought her home, which I think has more to do with the fact that she's a lot more relaxed then her sister. She'll be a good lap cat and great company to whoever adopts her.

Foster Update 12/31/2010 - Mia is as sweet as she ever was, just like it took her a while to get used to us it took her a while to get used to a dog we fostered shortly. After a while though, she got used to her and though I can't really say she liked the dog all that much she learned to deal with her. Mia loves to just cuddle and sit your lap. She'll play occasionally, but mostly just likes to relax. At night she likes to lay at the foot of our bed, at least until we fall asleep at which point she'll get up and play with her sister. She's just a really calm, loving cat.
Foster Update - 12/1/2010 - Mia is doing wonderfully, she loves to cuddle and relax by my side. It took her a little while to come out of her shell, ecspecially with my son, but now she'll even come up to him every once in a while. She never scatches on anything except her scratching posts, loves catnip, and playing with strings. She really is just the sweetest cat, very smart and loving. I think she'd get along well with other cats and even kids now.

Foster Update - 11/3/2010  Mia is a sweet kitty, although a bit shy, she hides behind the couch a lot during the day and only comes out during my sons naps and after he goes to bed. He's just turned one so he's very loud highly energetic little boy. She's a bit jumpy around loud noices and fast movements. All that aside when things calm down she loves to sit in our laps and watch tv. She also likes to sleep at the foot of our bed when we settle down for the night. Very sweet and like her sister never plays too rough. Very sweet kitten and a joy to be around.
