Description:
Piper is a wonderfully sweet natured young girl. She was found wandering bare foot and pregnant in the College Park area of Orlando. Fortunately for her one kind soul took her in and contacted us. She then went into foster care where she wil stay until she finds her forever home.
Piper must have been someone's cat - probably kicked out when she got pregnant. She is a quiet, very loving cat who has been a diligent and caring Momma to her 3 kittens and 1 orphaned kitten. Now it's her turn to shine, have attention lavished on her and loved. It's not hard to love Piper as she loves everyone and will sit in your arms for as long as you are willing to hold her! She loves to be around people, is calm and even tempered and not easily spooked. She will snuggle up with you given half the chance. She really is a 'people cat'. She is slowly getting used to the other cats in her foster home. She is still protective of her babies but I believe she will be fine in a home with another cat. She ignores the dogs in the home unless they try and "wash" her babies - then she tells them to get lost!
Piper has been separated from her kittens for a while now and has made herself at home with the other cats in the house. It took about a month but she is pretty good with them now. She continues to adore human attention and to be picked up and cuddled. She is napping on my lap as I type....
