Reese was surrendered by her owner who could not afford to take care of her any longer. She is good with people and bigger dogs. She is not good with smaller dogs. She is a very spirted dog whom would love a home with lots of people to love up on her! She was very sick for a short per of time and we think while living in the vet hospital has developed some food aggression with other dogs. She does not share food or bones well with other animals. Although she shows no aggression towards people! She would love a large back yard yard and plenty of people to play with.
Volunteer update 2/13: Reese is such a love! Just loves all people and wants nothing but attention all day! She isn't a fan of other female dogs but seems to do just fine with a couple male dogs here at the shelter. I think she would do best as the only dog in the home.
Foster Update 7/28/10: Before Reese was sent to the hospital, I fostered her for a while to see if I could help her recover. She is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She will lay in your lap for hours and soak up all the attention she can. She loves to be rubbed and held. She has the most beautiful, gentle eyes. She is such a cuddle muffin and is so grateful for any love she can get. She is very submissive and respectful to people.
