Description:

Meet the Weather Puppies!

Just before the temperatures in Florida dipped down into the 20s, a group of brave little puppies was discovered trying to stay warm the only way they knew how—huddled together with their mom underneath an abandoned home on a rural property. Life outdoors had been their only experience, and with the cold weather approaching, they needed help quickly. Thankfully, a kind-hearted individual was able to safely bring the puppies in so they could get the care they needed and begin their journey toward finding loving forever homes.

Because of the chilly conditions they came from, we gave these resilient pups weather-inspired names: Windy, Chilly, Flurry, Hazy, Dewy, and Stormy. Each one has their own adorable personality, but they all share the same playful, curious spirit that puppies are known for.

We believe the Weather Puppies are hound and shepherd mixes, though we unfortunately don’t know exactly what their mom looks like. The gentleman who rescued them tried to catch her as well, but she was too elusive to be brought in. Based on the puppies’ current size and growth, we expect them to grow into medium-sized dogs, likely around 50 pounds or more when fully grown

Despite their rough start, these pups are learning just how wonderful indoor life can be. They are playful, energetic, and full of love. Like all puppies, they will benefit from training, socialization, and a family ready to guide them as they grow. With patience and encouragement, they will blossom into loyal and loving companions.

Important Information for New Puppy Parents

Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog,    dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential .

We    strongly recommend that the    entire family    participates in puppy training classes . This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the  same commands and techniques , creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.

**Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families!    Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success.
