Description:

Ring in a New Beginning with Bell

Sweet little Bell didn’t get to start the New Year the way anyone would hope. Sadly, her owner was no longer able to care for her, and she was surrendered to Pet Rescue By Judy. While that was a big change for this tiny girl, she didn’t have to face it alone. Bell quickly moved into a loving foster home with other dogs — including two fellow foster Frenchies — where she has been surrounded by care and compassion.

When Bell first arrived, she had quite a few medical concerns. She was very thin and struggling with significant skin and ear infections. She was also vomiting her food and water, which likely contributed to her weight loss. Thankfully, the fantastic team at Healthy Pets jumped right in. With a dedicated treatment plan for her skin and ears, along with diagnostics including x-rays and follow-up care, Bell began her journey toward feeling better.

Through her medical workup, she was diagnosed with IVDD however after going to the The Animal Cracker and seeing Dr Dana it has been determined that Bell actually has some arthritis in her neck not really IVDD.

Bell will need a special home committed to protecting her spine and keeping her safe. This means:

  • No jumping on or off couches, beds, or stairs
  • Supervised, gentle play
  • A calm environment with a dog her size or smaller who will not play rough

She is a very gentle, sensitive soul and does pretty well with cats. Bell enjoys companionship and feels comforted having furry friends around her, as long as everyone plays kindly.

Bell will need to be in a home where she can continue to be carefully monitored, loved, and supported — a family that understands her special needs and is willing to help her live her very best life. In return, she will offer endless sweetness, soft snuggles, and that adorable Frenchie charm that melts hearts instantly.
