About Larissa:
Larissa is a tiny, sweet soul who’s just beginning to learn what it means to feel safe and loved. She is shy at heart, but she’s already showing how gentle and devoted she can be. While she may be timid at first, Larissa truly enjoys being near her person and will happily keep you company wherever you go.

Personality & Behavior:

  • Very sweet, quiet, and shy

  • Likes to be close to her person but will not come to you for effection right away.

  • Appears unfamiliar with affection and is learning to trust at her own pace

  • Will bark when left alone and in the mornings when she needs to go outside

Training & Routine:

  • About 90% house-trained

  • Sleeps through the night

  • Will bark in the morning to let you know she needs a bathroom break

  • Will need regular walks and a consistent routine to continue her progress

Other Animals:

  • Does well with other dogs in the home

  • Not playful, more of a calm companion

  • May do well with cats

Ideal Home:
Larissa would thrive in a patient, quiet home with someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to let her set the pace. She doesn’t need a lot—just consistency, kindness, and time to learn that she’s finally safe.

A Little Extra:
Larissa may be small, but her loyalty is big. Once she trusts you, she wants nothing more than to be near you—your shadow, your companion, your little reminder that love can grow gently and beautifully.
