Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a sweet and lovable Chihuahua mix who is ready to find the forever home he truly deserves. While we’re not exactly sure what he’s mixed with, Charlie is a bit bigger than a typical Chihuahua, weighing in at almost 16 pounds—just the perfect size for cuddles and companionship.

Charlie has a very gentle, submissive personality and shows no signs of aggression or resource guarding. He is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves to snuggle. One of his favorite things is being held like a baby, soaking up all the love and attention he can get.

With all the changes he’s experienced, it’s no surprise that Charlie was a little nervous at first. However, he quickly warmed up and showed just how sweet and trusting he truly is. In his short one year of life, Charlie has already been through a lot. He originally came into another rescue in Alabama before making his way to Pet Rescue By Judy, where he was given a second chance at finding his perfect match.

Charlie would do best in a loving home that understands he may need a little time to adjust, but once he does, he will reward you with endless affection and devotion. If you’re looking for a gentle, cuddly companion with a heart of gold, Charlie may be the one for you.

Though small in stature, Chihuahuas are high-energy dogs and require lots of playtime and activity. Daily exercise with walks and indoor playtime helps maintain their physical and mental health. When they feel nervous, they will bark—and sometimes forget how truly tiny they are. It’s vital for Chihuahua parents to monitor their dog closely whenever they’re around other animals and unfamiliar people

Important Information for New Puppy Parents

Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog,  dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential .

We  strongly recommend that the  entire family  participates in puppy training classes . This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the  same commands and techniques , creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.

**Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families!  Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success.
