Meet Gordo!

 Gordo is a sweet and lovable French Bulldog who is ready to finally find the forever family he has always deserved. This charming little guy truly loves everyone he meets—people of all ages, other dogs, and even cats! His gentle personality and happy spirit make him an instant favorite wherever he goes.

 Gordo’s life hasn’t always been easy. He originally came from a breeder situation and was then passed between families who, unfortunately, were unable to provide the care he needed. Through no fault of his own, Gordo eventually found his way to Pet Rescue By Judy, where he’s now getting the love, stability, and patience he’s been missing.

 Because of his past, Gordo is still learning about the world and how to be a cherished family pet. He is not fully housebroken yet and will need a patient, understanding family willing to continue his training and help him thrive. With consistency and kindness, this smart little guy will continue to make great progress.

 Gordo is playful and fun and absolutely adores his toys. He enjoys playing fetch with a ball and loves interacting with cats as well. Despite his rough start, his heart is full of love, and he’s eager to give it to the right family.

 We are looking for a person or family who has experience with French Bulldogs or other brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds. These special dogs have unique needs, and Gordo’s future family should understand how to keep him healthy, safe, and comfortable.

 Important Care Considerations for French Bulldogs

 Gordo’s adopter should be familiar with:

•  Heat sensitivity – French Bulldogs can overheat easily and should avoid excessive heat and strenuous exercise, especially in warm weather
• Breathing awareness – Monitoring for labored breathing, snorting, or respiratory distress
• Proper weight management – Keeping him at a healthy weight to reduce strain on his joints and airway
• Moderate exercise needs – Short, controlled walks and playtime rather than long or intense activity
• Skin and wrinkle care – Regular cleaning of facial folds to prevent irritation or infection
• Routine veterinary care – Including monitoring for common Frenchie health concerns
