Meet Apricot!!

As sweet as the fruit she’s named after, Apricot is an absolutely adorable and beautiful calico cat who is searching for her forever home. She made the journey from Alabama to Central Florida with hopes of finding a loving family to call her own.

After arriving at Pet Rescue By Judy, it was discovered that Apricot had a lump on her abdomen. Further examination revealed that the lump was caused by an enlarged kidney. Thanks to the incredible care provided by Dr. Pinzon and the wonderful staff at Healthy Pets, Apricot underwent bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasounds. After much discussion, it was decided that removing the affected kidney was the best option to give Apricot a true chance at a healthy, happy life.

Through it all, Apricot has shown just how sweet and resilient she is. She is a gentle soul who has been through so much yet continues to greet the world with quiet grace and affection. Apricot is now looking for a special home where she can be cherished and cared for as she continues her journey forward.
