Meet Dino — the Handsome Airedale Terrier

Dino is a stunning, two-year-old Airedale Terrier whose good looks are only matched by his loving personality. He’s more beautiful in person than any photo can capture, and his gentle eyes and expressive face make it impossible not to fall in love.  Dino was surrendered because his previous owner's declining health and busy schedule was making it hard for Dino to get the proper care and time needed.  His owner wanted to see Dino happy and thriving and felt that an active family would be the ideal home.

 Dino’s Details

  •  Training: Knows basic commands, potty trained, and crate trained
  • Leash manners: Starts out strong with excitement, then settles into a nice pace
  • Personality: Affectionate with people, friendly with other dogs, and enjoys time with children
  •  Dino is not a fan of cats

What He’s Like

Dino is a true people-dog. He loves to be near his humans, whether it’s going for a walk, relaxing at your feet, or joining in on family activities. He also gets along well with canine friends, making him a great companion in a home with other dogs. His sweet, steady temperament makes him an easy dog to have around.

Airedale Terrier Grooming & Personality

Airedales are known as the “King of Terriers” for their size, intelligence, and dignified presence. They’re smart, alert, and often have a playful sense of humor. Dino is no exception—he’s clever, loyal, and ready to join you in whatever you’re doing.

Airedales have a wiry double coat that requires regular grooming to keep them looking and feeling their best. This includes:

  •  Brushing: 2–3 times a week to prevent matting and tangles
  • Professional grooming/hand-stripping: Every 6–8 weeks for coat health and appearance
  • Regular ear, nail, and dental care: Keeps them comfortable and healthy

With proper grooming and regular exercise, Airedales are adaptable companions who love to be part of the action while also settling in for quiet moments with their families.

 Ideal Home

Dino would do well in an active home that can provide regular walks, mental stimulation, and, of course, plenty of love. He’ll thrive with someone who appreciates the Airedale’s mix of energy, smarts, and loyalty—and who’s ready to keep up with his grooming needs.
