Description:
These seven adorable puppies made an incredible journey to find a better life—and now they’re hoping to find forever families right here in Central Florida.
Originally from an overcrowded rescue in rural Alabama, these pups were out of options—until the amazing team at Pilots N Paws stepped in. This incredible group of volunteer pilots donates their time, planes, and fuel to fly at-risk dogs from rural shelters to areas where they have a much better chance at adoption. Thanks to their lifesaving mission, these sweet puppies earned their wings and landed safely at Pet Rescue By Judy, where their new adventure begins.
These little ones are a delightful hound/lab mix—known for their loyal, friendly, and playful personalities. Each one has their own charm, but all of them are full of puppy energy, curiosity, and affection. They love to play, explore, cuddle, and will no doubt grow up to be wonderful companions for the families lucky enough to adopt them.
As with all puppies, they’ll need families committed to providing training, structure, and lots of love as they grow. They’re young, eager to learn, and ready to become beloved members of their new homes.
Like all working breeds, hound dogs utilise their natural canine behaviours to do the jobs that we humans have developed them for. Hounds are specialists in locating their prey with either their keen eyesight or their incredible noses. Hound dog breeds view training as a dark art so owners will need to be patient, consistent and find a way to motivate and reward a dog whose greatest joy is sniffs or chases. Spending time with a hound as a puppy teaching a Watch Me, will pay off when they are older.
Important Information for New Puppy Parents
Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.
We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.
**Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success.
