**THIS IS A CROSS-POST**

If self-reliance had a face, it would be that of this little one right here.   This is Bullitt, she is approximately 3 years old, and she has had a bit of a rough start to life.

According to the family that rescued her, she’s had at least 2 litters, but it’s unknown what has become of her puppies. About 4 months ago, her owners moved away and abandoned her, leaving her to fend for herself. Bullitt took matters into her own hands and started feeding herself duck eggs from the little farm near her old home! They didn’t mind and actually started to feed her once they realized she had been left behind with no one to care for her.  
She is a very sweet girl and still full of life and love for everyone around her.  She doesn’t bother any of the farm animals (goats, chickens, ducks) or the barn cats.  She is super smart, loves food (especially eggs) and chasing flies and being around people.  She deserves to have a real family who will take care of her and love her.   She is a little Velcro dog to anyone who pays attention to her…..
