Description:

Beautiful Tyson is a happy and silly boy. He likes to talk, especially if he thinks you will take him outside or in the car. Tyson likes toys and bones,  loves attention and petting and will happily follow along with you outside:)  He has a very unique toothy smile due to having only a few teeth which are oversized and bright eyes that don't miss a thing! He loves to cuddle and will nudge you to keep petting him.

Little Tyson's owner passed away and he was abandoned by their family.  He came to us full of fleas, itchy, bald in many places, with very irritated skin and was miserable. With the help of Chickasaw Trail Animal Hospital, he has made great progress and has a beautiful full coat of hair and lots of personality!

SPECIAL NEEDS: New owners must be able to commit to giving Apoquel for his skin (currently taking every other day) as well as Cosequin for his rear legs. His walk is a bit off which the vet feels may be genetic but he gets around just fine . Tyson can be a trip hazard as he tends to get between your legs when excited.

Tyson eats dry, hydrolyzed food, and wet sensitive skin food for his pills as well. He has a slight heart murmur (the vet has noticed great improvement in his heart as he has regained health) as well as most of his teeth missing. The teeth he has will need a dental in the future.

He can, on occasion, get a bit mouthy out of excitement, but can be easily distracted.   He can be protective of his food or toys (with other dogs). With this in mind, we are not recommending a home with kids.

Tyson is such a good little boy and is ready for his furever home.
