Our beautiful Heidi came to us from a rural high kill shelter. She is such a happy, cheerful puppy. She enjoys playing with the other puppies and dogs at her foster home and just LOVES her people, including older children (12 or over).  Because she loves people so much, she will jump in her excitement and could knock a little child down.   This beautiful girl will need a patient owner who will work with her on proper doggie etiquette.  She is really smart and will learn quickly!

German Shepherds need a job because they are highly intelligent, energetic, and eager to please. They thrive when given something to do, either for work or play. Jobs provide mental stimulation and physical activity, keeping them fit and healthy and helping them form strong bonds with their owners. Her new owners should have  GSD/large breed experience and 6 ft fenced backyard.
