Kash was surrendered by his owners when they needed to move in with family for health reasons. Kash is a sweet little boy who enjoys walks and being close to his family. He is a great age and is already house-trained. Kash is good with kids.

His owners did not previously crate him, but Kash has done a great job at the center playing and relaxing in his crate. He is excellent with kids and hopes for a fun active family... with maybe a kid or two to play with and help him lose weight and get into shape.

Kash enjoys baths and getting groomed. He is freshly groomed for the summer but his owners will have to be dedicated to brushing him often and taking him in to the groomers every 4-6 weeks.

ShihTzus are friendly by nature and love to be with their humans! They are best in homes with familes who are around much of the day to offer them attention. As a Toy breed, they enjoy some outside time, but they can quickly overheat with their short muzzles and should not be left out in the heat for long. Owners should be diligent with their grooming as a shorter face cut helps keep muzzle clean and smelling fresh as well as prevent entropion (when eyelashes grow inwards...ouch) which the breed can be prone to. ShihTzus ca have a long lifespan and owners should be prepared for 10-16 years of companionship and care:)
