Are you an empty nester looking for a four legged furbaby to move in? Chia is just your type! She is looking for a mature household with a person/people who share her love of being outside and spending time together. 
   She would love hoomans who are active as she has a lot of energy. Once she wakes up she is ready and eager to start her day! She loves her person/people and wants to be part of your day.    She has a very silly dance she likes to do on her back legs and is working on learning some manners regarding barking and coming inside.   We wonder if she may have been an outside dog.   She would benefit from obedience class but with individualized attention she is very smart and will learn quickly.

Chia was left tied to a fence when her owners moved. PRBJ took her in and now she is looking for a FUREVER home.  She loves being outside and will happily lay next to her hooman or patrol the yard to keep the squirrels and lizards moving along. Chia has adjusted well to a crate at meal time and does go lie in there quite often. She has been sleeping loose in the house at night. She seems to be fully housetrained but we are wondering if she was mostly an outside dog.   Once she is outside she does not always like to come in! 
As she has quite a voice and a lot to say, we suggest a single family home. Chia has plenty of energy and definitely would enjoy a hooman(s) who like to be outside. We do not know how she is with cats or children and she can be cautious when meeting people.    Lizard and June bug chasing are two of her favorite activities and she also enjoys carrying around stuffed toys and chewing on nylabone type bones.

Chia is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative as well as on heartworm and flea prevention.
