I have been fostering this sweet 9 year-old boy for almost a week now.  He is a gentle soul.  He is often a couch potato (actually on the couch)  but LOVES to go on walks or a ride in the car.  Grayson has little reaction to dogs we pass on our walks but if people speak to him, he eagerly wants to meet them and get petted.  We have been walking quite a bit as we both need to take off a few pounds.  He is now living in a townhome which means a two-story home and he mastered the steps like a pro.  Grayson is house-trained with no accidents.  The only medication he is on would be eye drops.  Grayson does think when I eat, he should eat, and we are working on manners.  I am teaching him to give me distance when I have food.  I do believe you can teach this older dog some new tricks.  I do allow him to sleep in the bed with me as he loves to be touching while sleeping.  If he sounds like a good fit for your home or someone you know, please put in an application for this precious boy.
