MARLEY DOES HAVE CUSHING'S  DISEASE.

Marley is a love;  she loves people and just wants to rest her head with a person for the rest of her life.   In fact this total sweetheart loves her human so much that she doesn't want to share her human with other pets....so Marley would love to be the only dog in her forever home.

Marley's owner was experiencing health issues which caused him to not be able to care for her anymore. Marley is a sweet sweet dog. She is what we like to call a "velcro" dog. This just means she wants to be with you all the time :) She enjoys laying under the desk, while we work, in the office that she is in here at the shelter.

In her previous home, she was in a crate all of the time. Since she has been here at the shelter she has been loose in one of our offices and has not done any damage to anything. She just patiently waits for someone else to come in and hang out with her.

We contacted her previous vet office to make sure we had all of her medical information and they raved about how good of a girl Marley is.

Marley is potty trained and enjoys riding in the car. She is a little stand-offish at first when she meets a new person but she quickly relaxes when she realizes she can trust you. She is a little on the hefty side, but we think some regular exercise will help her with that!

We took Marley over to our cat room to see if she likes cats, and she paid no attention to them. This is usually a pretty good sign that she will do well in a home with cats, however, every situation and home is different, so we always suggest introducing animals slowly in your home.

If you would like to meet this lovely senior gal please fill out an adoption application!
