Spikes owner was not able to keep but she also wanted the best for him.   They told us Spike was very friendly and loving.   At first we thought otherwise.   He would hiss at us when we went near him in his cage.   After 2 days we discovered he does not like the cage.  We saw first hand that he loves people and loves to be petted.   Spike is good with other cats and dogs.  We do not know about children.  He is now ready for his forever home and is available for fostering with intent to adopt.
