Buford is just as you would imagine a young beagle to be. He has a lot of energy and a big "Beagle" bark/howl to go with it. He will need a very active family to care for him with a big secure backyard for him to run and play in. Beagles tend to follow their noses wherever they will take them, so he must be supervised if he is outside in a fenced-in area in case something intrigues him on the other side of the fence.
We have not put him in a playgroup at the shelter, so we are unsure if he is good with other dogs, but he is so playful that we think with another like-minded dog he would be fine. Please fill out an application to meet him.
