Chihuahuas  are lively, loyal, intelligent, spunky, playful and friendly dogs.They burrow under blankets, dance on their hind legs, wave their paws in the air, and lick everything in sight! Most  Chihuahuas  need little obedience training. Chihuahuas  need to learn where to go to the bathroom, and where not to go–and this can be the biggest training challenge in this breed. 
  Cass needs to be the only animal in his new home as we have found he does not like to share food or attention from his people with other animals. 

PRBJ got a call from Hernando County asking for help in saving 29 small dogs who were living in a hoarding situation.  The owners were being evicted, and the dogs had nowhere to go.  Judy and the team didn’t hesitate to go help these poor babies, and the 29 Chihuahua mixes were rescued and brought back to PRBJ.
 
    **Currently, we are in the process of assessing their needs and getting them cleaned up and comfortable. PRBJ is determined to give them a new start so that they can have great homes and live the lives they deserve. Once we have more information on each dog, we will update their webpages~*
