Jessica is a wonderful hound-mix. She was adopted from us in May and then brought back a couple of weeks later when her new owners realized they would be travelling too much to care for a dog. I took these photos the day she was returned to us at an adoption event. Does she look confused to you? She does to me. That is my husband holding her leash. I had trouble getting good pictures of her because all she wanted to do was get close to him for reassurance. This is a really sweet dog and she deserves better than she has gotten so far. Won't you give her a happily-ever-after ending?

Update on Jessica - Well, this girl doesn't know a good thing when she has one. A lovely couple adopted her but, despite their best efforts, Jessica has decided that she no longer likes men. She isn't aggressive to them - she just won't go near them. This is really sad because she has now severely limited the number of people who can adopt her. So here's Jessica, hoping for the right man-free home. Is it yours?
