Cassius is an affectionate boy who would love to have a family to take him on adventures at the park and going on walks. He still needs a little bit of training, but with his need to please, that shouldn't be an issue. When walking Cassius, he will pull if given too much room on the leash. As he has a high prey drive to small animals, new owners will need be the alpha pack leader to reinforce good walking skills and behavior. He would not pair well with smaller dogs or cats in the home, and would be happy as the only pet in the home to have his owner/family's attention.
    Cassius also knows his size and we recommend older children (14 and over) who have been around large, dominant breeds. He has an issue with resource guarding and will go after kids' toys or snacks if they drop them.   
If you are looking for a ball of energy to join family look no further.  Cassius's new home must have a 6' or higher fence for him to safely romp and play in as he can jump over a 5' height, or must be an active person who will walk him a lot each day so that he does not become destructive in the home.  
   If you are an energetic, alpha owner who is home a lot and looking for an energetic buddy to go on adventures with, Cassius is your guy!  
  Cassius eats Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Dry food and his previous owner added white rice with boiled chop meat as he has some allergies. His previous owner was getting him allergy injections every other month, and his vet did reccomended trying Zyrtec tablets as an alternative, but these have not been tried yet. New owners need be aware and diligent of his allergies and dietary needs. We recommend consulting your vet for suggestions on an allergy/food diet plan.
