HE LOVES, LOVES, LOVES  BLANKETS.
6-23  Atticus is home with Judy and her gang and is doing okay. He is a great security dog and barks when someone comes to the door. Judy is correcting him when he barks at the dogs in the house.  Atticus is totally housetrained, sleeps right next to you all night, and shares the futon with two cats and a Pitt Bull. Firecrackers and storms upset him, so I rub lavender on him to relax! He has become a part of the pack. Judy

He is very playful....he has lots of energy so he loves to play with his toys and have a ball thrown to him outside, loves going on walks with his person. Chasing lizards and squirrels is his lifelong passion.  He cannot have enough blankets!

This sweet boy had a really rough start in his life with absolutely no training/socialization
. When he was just a puppy, he lived in a frat house and his owners totally failed this little dog. No one trained him on how to act with other animals or exposed him to life as a dog. While there, he broke his leg when he fell off a chair. His leg was treated by a vet and he is fine.

We do not recommend children or high traffic in and out of the home.  A quiet, adult home is recommended.

Atticus knows to sit, stay, up, off, go to crate.  Because of his lack of being socialized, he has nipped at children before and he does not seem to like most other dogs. When he approaches another dog he can act very dominantly because he does not know any better.

Please only apply for Atticus if you are willing to dedicate the time necessary for training and socializing.  If you have a full work schedule or many families/social commitments with little spare time to commit to training/socializing a dog, then this is not the dog for you.
