Pan is a very strong-willed, sweet, and smart boy. He wants to learn and to please you. He will sit, shake, lay down, and stay (sometimes!). He is really eager for training if there are treats involved. He comes when he is called by his name and will also come when you whistle.

Pan needs a family who will keep him busy with training and exercise. We recomend kids 6 and up for him.

Pan was originally found as a stray by a nice lady. She kept him for as long as she could, but eventually, he became too interested in her two cats. She did not think that he would try to hurt them intentionally, but that he was chasing them to play and the cats did not like it. He lived with two medium-sized dogs and got along with them both, however, we think that small dogs would not be a good fit for him as he does have a tendency to chase smaller animals. He had a couple of disagreements about toys with the two dogs that he lived with, but it was unclear if the other dogs or Pan started the arguments. Because of this, if his new home has other dogs, his owner should use caution when introducing toys to him and his new doggy family.

Pan can easily clear a 4-foot fence, so 6 feet or higher is mandatory for his new home so he can safely run and play.

Dog for a Day 5/15/21: Pan is a super sweet and amazing dog! He is very calm and is very well behaved. He is really good around adults and children. He is also very gentle. He likes to go on walks and does very well on them.

overnight 5/22/21 Pan stayed with me this weekend overnight and he did a very good job. We had no accidents in the house at all. He is a smart boy and will give you hints when he has to go. He didn’t bark in the house at all and was very well behaved. He loves to play fetch and play with his other toys. He enjoys long walks but he does get distracted by squirrels and turtle’s in particular. He does good at any type of outside event but he seems to get hot easily so bring lots of water with you if you ever plan to take him out. He loves treats and pup cups. He is a sweet, loving, and gentle boy. Here are some of his favorite sleeping positions lol.
