4-18 -21 Update: Snoopy was one off many wonderful dogs attending the Mini Golf event at Celery City along with 18 other Sanford establishments. Snoopy enjoyed all the people and the other animals- and all the attention he received:)  At home later that night, he played happily with Cheyenne, my one-eyed cat; they sniffed and got to know each other. He also played outside with 3 other dogs~ Snoopy has been a good inside the house as well.  

Dog for a Day 4/17/21:

Snoopy was a cuddle bug from the moment he got into the car~ He just fell on top of us, asking for pets:) He enjoyed the car ride and loved sniffing the wind and our hair and faces. He’s a bit of a goofball and just throws his body around in the car. Once we got to the beach, he was eager to run and sniff the environment. He was a little afraid of the waves at first, but he still wanted to get his paws wet. He was very curious about the people around him. He was actually very gentle on the leash, pulling only a little when he got excited. After the beach, we went to Petco, where he sniffed and snooped around for a toy of his favor. He loves the sounds of squeaky toys. He caught the scent trail of a Yorkie in the store, and he just wouldn’t stop wagging his tail. Snoopy is a great, loving dog. If you kneel down and call him over he’ll run over to you to show you, love. If you’re gone for just a minute, he’ll greet you with joy every time. He’s a great, loving, goofy, gentle, but energetic dog!! We had a blast and we hope he did too. 
 

Snoopy is a spunky boy with lots of energy. He needs a fenced backyard to run around in as his previous owners didn't have a yard, and Snoopy has an excessive amount of energy to burn. He, like many Hounds, loves to run around and can follow his nose into dangerous situations.
  Snoopy is good with dogs and kids, cats. He does not jump on people:) With his high energy, we recommend a home with older kids who will not get knocked over or overwhelmed by his energy level.
