Dog for a day 2/7:

Bronco is a sweet boy he is shy when you first meet him. There fore he must go into a home with older kids. Bronco does well on the leash and doesnt pull at all.
Bronco arrived at PRBJ because his time was up at the kill shelter he was staying at. They reached out to us for help and luckily we had one more spot open in the kennel. Bronco seems like a sweet and gentle boy. We will update his page with more information after we have had him for a couple of days. 

Bronco is Heartworm Positive but please do not let this deter you from adopting this great dog. PRBJ practices the "slow kill" method for heartowrms and we have found it to be very successful. The infected dogs take a strong antibiotic for 30 days (if you adopt durring that time we will supply it for you) and then all they need is their regular monthly heartworm preventitive.
