“Hello. My name is Terry. I have been surrendered twice now in my short 5 years, and I don’t understand why.
My first family was no longer able to care for me and said a nipped them, but when I came to PRBJ, I never bit anyone there. Even my foster mom fell in love with me.
Then, my second adoption family returned me because they said I was needy and bit them for no reason. My foster mom came and picked me up from PRBJ the same day I was returned, and I have never once tried to bite her.
I don’t think my previous humans knew how to give me attention. I just want to play and be loved and petted. I have gnawed on my foster moms hands, but in a playful manner so she will give me attention. I love to run around the house with her other dogs as well as in the backyard. My foster mom and I play fetch a lot with all my cool dog toys. I am a very co-dependent little guy and follow my foster mom around a lot. I even lie next to her pillow when we sleep.
 
I am housebroken- unless my tummy gets upset and I can’t control it, so don’t be upset when that may happen. I tend to try and eat bugs, weeds, and other dog poo so foster mom gives me a little teaspoon of pumpkin in my afternoon meal to curb the poo eating…it helps.
I enjoy going for walks on a leash, and I don’t mind getting a bath, but I do get grumpy when you want to cut my nails so you might want the vet to do it or get a little muzzle—that is when I can get nippy.
 
Being that I have been surrendered twice now, my foster mom says I will only go to a person she is completely in supporte of and one who will treat good care of me as she does. I have really grown attached to her, so you’ll really have to “woo” us over.”
