Ron is a sweet senior dog who would love a quiet home to call his own. We rescued Ron from a house fire with another dog and 10 cats. Ron must go into a home that has a fenced in backyard for him to enjoy through the day. Here is what Ron's foster mom has to say about him:

"I have been fostering Ron (I call him My Bear) for about 10 days now;
such a lovable boy. He loves walks but he does have some arthritis so
we keep his walks on the short side. I think the perfect forever home
will include a yard. He loves to meander around sniffing and exploring.
Easy going describes this special pup and seems to appreciate a bath so
a pool might be something he would enjoy. He loves a good rub down
and then happy to find a spot to take a nap. He gets along well with
other dogs but can also be in an only dog home."

Ron is super sweet, but he is a very large dog and can be strong on the leash. You will need to be comfortable handling a large, strong dog.  He also has a number of senior lumps and bumps, as typical of many senior dogs.
