Birdie OP was rescued by Orlando Police. They found her starving and trying to eat a bird on the side of the road. Birdie got right in the officer's car and was brought to PRBJ. 
This dog is so emaciated:) We started de-worming and easy feedings. She walks very well on the leash; she slept all night and happily went out this morning for a walk. Birdie was eager to get acquainted with the dogs in the house. Had vet check heartworm , fecal negative, waiting for bloodwork results,  Will be spayed when it gains weight,
