Description:Want someone to talk to? Frisky is YOUR GIRL. She's a chatty, friendly, outgoing cat. She's got personality for days and she's very very receptive to people. Just between you and me, I think Frisky might think she IS a person. Again, she likes to hold conversations and she keeps great eye contact :) You really have to come meet this girl to get the full sense of her. She's got a great energy and a great spirit and she'd make a spectacular companion cat.
Now, I have to tell you, the first time someone told me a we had gotten in a Tortoiseshell, well, I kinda was wondering what happened to the tortoise! I'm sure you know exactly what a Tortoiseshell is, but juuuuust in case you don't, let me show off for a moment. A Tortoiseshell is not a breed but is, instead, a referance to the coloring of their coat. According to the book "For The Love Of Cats"Tortoiseshell cats have a coat with a combination of any one solid color and red or cream. These colors may be completely mixed as in brindled tortoiseshell or separate as in patched tortoiseshell. The solid color may be black, brown, blue, chocolate, lilac, cinnamon, fawn, or golden." "Torties" are almost always female. See how smart we are now!?!
Foster Update - 20 June 2010
Frisky is talkative, plays and likes to sleep on the table in the front window. I think she likes to keep a look-out. She no longer sleeps under the table on the chair. I think that's a good sign. Several times she came up on the couch and curled up next to me. She is enjoying her new found freedom.
