Hi, my name is Dobi, and I currently reside at Pet Rescue by Judy after finding myself left at a high-kill shelter and having extreme ear infections. Judy saw my crinkled ears and different-colored eyes and fell in love. She brought me to the rescue to give me a second chance.
My unique appearance is both endearing and charming. I listen well and know many commands. I love people so much and just so very much want to finally have a family of my own. And a backyard to play in and keep me safe as I love lounging outside... but lounging in the house next to you would be even better. Did I mention I'm great in the car and good on the leash? (Please read about my fun Dog for a Day below.)
I do not like other dogs or cats, so my ideal home would mean that I am the ONLY animal, well I guess a fish would be okay....LOL But, again, you have to keep me from other dogs because I really don’t like them, I get scared and just want to protect myself.
If you think you could love a goofy, crinkled-ear boy like me, please put in an application because I am beyond ready to find my forever home. I have waited soooooooo long. If you give me a chance, I will love you with all of my heart forever and ever and ever.

**note from Dog 4 a Day
"We had such a great time with Dobie! He was so sweet and so well-behaved the whole time! My boyfriend sat in the backseat of the car with him and Dobie cuddled with him on the way home to the rescue. He would also say hi to me and give me attention when I looked back at them at stoplights. He gave us kisses too! So cute! We took him on a long walk at a nature trail and passed many bikers, runners, etc. and he was not phased at all. He did not bark or try to chase after anyone or anything. He didn’t get distracted by cars driving by or squirrels or even lizards. He stayed next to us during the walk, stopped when we stopped, jogged when we jogged and sat when asked to. He loved sniffing around and exploring with us on the trail. Dobie was so sweet and getting to spend some time with him was the highlight of our week."
Special Needs: needs dog training to desensitize his reaction to other dogs judy
