Sky Blu the Kitten Lover needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
About Sky Blu the Kitten Lover
Sky Blu must be adopted with one of our kittens or be adopted into a home with another kitten that is younger than her. She bonds very well with kittens and cats younger than her but not ones that are older. Thank you for understanding the kind of home she needs to be happy. She also does take a while to trust people. She is very close with one of our staff members and has taken over a year to get to that level of trust so she needs to be adopted by someone that is willing to dedicate time and work to gain her trust over a decent amount of time. She would most like a quiet home with no young kids as she does startle easily with loud noises and fast movements.
Sky Blu is starting to come around to all of the staff at the shelter. She loves chin scratches and with one of our staff members will roll over on her back and show her belly and want belly rubs. She is the sweetest girl. She loves the kittens and is almost always found laying in a bed with atleast 3 kittens sleeping on or around her. We would love to see her get adopted with one of our kittens since she does love them so much. if you are interested in adopting this sweet girl and one of her adopted kittens please submit an application for her.
Sky Blue's companion Ginger did pass away at the vet's office. Sky Blue is very depressed. We are searching for a foster home for her with possibly another cat.
Pet Rescue by Judy has added more photos of how Sky Blue and Ginger were while being indoor/outdoor cats. They were protected on a screened-in lanai and when they wanted to go in they were able to. It took them time especially Ginger to warm up but eventually, both cats did. Unfortunately, the daughter in the home realized she is allergic to cats.
Sky Blue and her companion Ginger were strays. They were befriended by the women who were feeding them. Ginger was even allowing her to pet her once in a while. She felt so bad for them being outdoors and surrendered them to us. Sky Blue will let us pet her at times but Ginger we still cannot touch. Sky blue loves to get chin scratches and would love the company of another cat. Judy and the staff would love to see them in the type of environment where they are happy. Both cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have had their rabies shots. They are waiting patiently to get out of their crates and be the type of cats that they are happy being. If you are interested please put an application in and we will set up a meet and greet!
