Description:

Casper loves being with people and wants to be with them all the time.  He is a classic velcro dog - wanting to be with his people all the time. He would love an active family who is home a lot.  He does require another dog or cat in the home for companionship.

Casper loves to ride in the car; he is house trained and loves to play.  He likes to sleep with one of his family members. He is good with dogs, cats, new people, and older kids.   He absolutely loves to play with Judy's blind cat, Cheyenne (who likes dogs not other cats..haha).

Casper was dumped by the side of the road in a broken crate (poor guy). He does have some separation anxiety...who can blame him?

When he arrived, he spent a few days with a foster family. They let him free roam in the house with another companion when they went out for short periods of time, and he was fine. At the center, Casper sits in a crate without issue and enjoys the company of people and dogs around him.

He spent a week in a loving home with a single woman. Casper was fabulous with his pottying. He acted lovingly towards the foster and her neighbors..they even offered to watch him when she went out, etc. However, being alone without another dog/cat, his separation anxiety was much higher. The doggie camera showed him trying to get out of the laundry room when foster left for the grocery store. Regretfully, foster returned Casper to the center as she she did not have anther dog/.cat buddy for him to hang with when she went out.

Casper is happily spending time with lots of people and animals at the center while he waits for his furever family to come take him home:)

Please fill out an application to meet him!
