Muffie is a sweet girl whose owner passed away.    Her daughter was  going to keep her but her HOA would not allow her to have another pet sadly.      Muffie is a sweet senior who definitely does not act like a teenager.   She has long legs and has quite the stride!   Her family let us know that she does not like crates as they cause her to panic. (We have noticed that she chooses to go lay down in open crates so I believe it is when they are closed when she panics)   She has a nice fluffy bed and blanket that she likes to nest in and she likes to go for walks.    

She eats dry Pro Plan Focus Adult Weight Management Formula mixed with turkey pureed baby food.    Her owner says she likes Milk-Bone Marrosnacks and Best Bully Sticks.     She eats and drinks from a raised bowl.

She did have a few teeth pulled about a year ago when she had a dental.  She just had her teeth cleaned and polished after coming to us so they are nice and shiny!  Also, in the days we have had her, it does seem as though she does have some hearing loss.    She does not hear us if she is not facing us.

She does have separation anxiety and is used to having somebody home except for rare short periods of time.     She does not like being left alone.

She will try to see if there is anywhere to squeeze out of a fence if she gets too curious so definitely needs supervision in the yard!    She has a little round pillow type thing that can be put around her neck so that she can't squeeze between pickets of a picket fence.
