Reba has had enough of being shifted here and there and is hoping for a home of her own. She was owner surrendered to a high kill shelter.   Reba did nothing wrong, her owner "dumped" the dog on her mother and the rest is history.   Reba's time was up and Judy was asked to help out. Reba knows various commands such as sit, down, and stay. She walks well on leash and is great with people. So far we have put her with more calm dogs and she seems to be fine with their company. 
Reba is heartworm positive and we are treating her with doxy and using the slow kill method. PLEASE do not let this deter you from adopting this beautiful animal. The slow kill method has always been used on all of our dogs with heartworm and has been proven very successful.  We will provide you with literature on the slow kill method as well as any addition medications that they are taking if you adopt while being treated.
