Description:

Tinkerbell and sibling, Mia, were owner surrendered to Pet Rescue by Judy. They are bonded and need to be adopted together.
Both dogs arrived to us in horrible condition. Their nails were overgrown and curling.Their hair was matted down to the skin.
We were informed from the owner that both dogs are housetrained, like other dogs, and have lived with a cat. They are also good with children of all ages.
At a first meeting, the are both somewhat shy, but still very playful. Both dogs love to go on walks. Tinkerbell was surrendered to us with a big swollen mamary gland, and Judy took her to the vet ASAP.

Mia and Tinkerbell are real sweethearts. They are very loving. They can get yappy at times, but they do listen well and have not had any accidents. They are good sleepers and sometimes do not want to get up in the morning when we first do..haha.
They are good with the other dogs in our house, but can get a little snippy with our big girl. Think they'd prefer to be around dogs closer to their own size:)
Despite coming to us extremely negelcted by their humans (their fur was matted down to the skin and they endured huge incisions as result of surgeries they needed due, in part, to neglectful veterinary care, t hey are so sweet towards the staff and volunteers. Goes to show how loving and forgiving dogs are!
Both girls were on two weeks of crate rest after surgery. Mia had a hernia involving her uterus and bladder:(
These sweeties are now ready to go into their furever home. Please fill out an application and come meet this loving pair.
