Liz E needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
About Liz E | |
|
|
Oh, my gosh....Sweet, sweet Kona (aka Liz E) is the MOST loving, affectionate, cuddly, and just downright beautiful girl! This amazing girl is such a gentle soul who is waiting patiently for a forever home where she can smother her humans with the unending love she has to give.
What does she love?
She needs help with:
Leash training to walk well around other dogs due to her pulling to visit them
Training to command (sit, down, stay, leave it, etc.)
Help to cope with the fear of loud noises and reassurance at night
A little caution:
Absolutely no small pets or small children; she gets excited and jumps/plays roughly. She has a high prey drive to farm aniamls/squirrels, etc.
Swimming is NOT one of her accomplishments
Normally we would delete her past history but we feel her whole story will help her get a home and someone will appreciate how great this dog really is, she just needs someone to love her forever.
Liz E kna Kona was just returned to PRBJ by her owner. Her owner is pregnant and seemed to have formed no bond with this remarkable dog. As her owners did not use heartworm medication, she developed heartworms, but she was treated and is now negative. She would do best in a home with a fenced backyard, older kids, and a family who hangs with her at home and involves her in walks and adventures.

2/9/20:
Liz E was returned to PRBJ from her owner as she did not get along well with the chickens and other farm animals. Otherwise, Liz E was the perfect companion while with her owners.
1/6/2020 foster update: LizE is a fantastic dog. She was wonderful with us and the kids. LizE was good with my mother-in-law but barked a lot at my father-in-law. However, she was fine with other men in the neighborhood when we went for a walk. LizE is quiet for the most part. She'd be a great family dog and would like another dog to buddy with who likes to play (she is not overly energetic, but she really loves to play with other dogs). I really wish we could've kept her, but our current dog is not up for a lot of playtimes. LizE is wonderful, and I hope she gets a forever home very soon!
Liz E was brought to us in the middle of the night from the Orlando Police Department after she was found wandering the streets. She is such a sweet girl with a gentle soul. She is great with other dogs and is great in the home. Her foster family has nothing but good things to say about her:)
We think she would be a great family dog as she likes kids. Please fill out an application to meet her!
