“I am a former PRBJ dog who was brought back to Judy after living in a domestic violence home. I was also attacked as a puppy by another dog too. I have been through a lot in my short 1.5 years of life. I am very skittish with loud noises and a little apprehensive with you humans until I get to know you. Please don’t be upset with me if you left for work and when you return I get a little amnesia. Sometimes I may even poop myself if you try too hard to pet me and I’m not ready. I do love to play when I settle down, especially with squeaky dog toys and big knotted ropes...but I also like to tear open the squeakers too so don’t let me swallow those! 

My foster mom has dogs including a big dog like me (I’m about 55 pounds) and I follow her around sometimes for guidance and assurance. Foster mom and I agree I likely need a furbrother or fursister to help me through life. I am super loving and sweet, but I really need patience and love from you humans to open up. I’ve had a hard start to my life so please be gentle and understanding.

Rudy is a shy boy when you first meet him, but once he gets to know you, he is a total love bug He loves to cuddle, give kisses, and be your watchdog. He is good with calm dogs and cats.
