Lula is a 2-3 year old female Hound. She is very petite at about 30 pounds. Lula is excellent on a leash and is good with other dogs. Lula has beautiful markings and is a very sweet and gentle dog.  

 

Foster update 7.8.19:  We have had Lula for about a month and she is a real sweetheart. She is cautious about some things, but we believe she was not exposed to much in the past. She is quite submissive with people and tends to lay down and show her belly any time you go to pet her. She is fine with our multiple other foster dogs, but we do feed them separately. We have not directly exposed her to cats, but she saw one outside and it definitely got her interest and she was "baying" at the site of it. She is not too vocal ordinarily, but can be at mealtime. She loves being outside and exploring. She is crate trained, but we do leave her out at night. Occasionally she will "get into something," such as a shoe or newspapers or even photos if they are on a low shelf as she gets up before us. She has lots of bones, nylabones and kongs, so I think her getting into stuff is just her curious nature. She has a type of cyst (Epithelial inclusion cyst) on her left eye, and per an eye specialist,  it does not need treatment. She is a sweet girl who is waiting for her furever family~
