That's it ~ I'm throwing my hands up in the air in frustration!  Between Horatio and Marmalade, who we took in the same day, I just don't know what it is with people!!!!  Horatio, who is as sweet as can be, was left at a pool.  Someone who was there heard the owner say that someone would take it!  Oh, that is very caring, don't you think?  What did Horatio think as the owner walked away?  Did he cry or bark?  How long did he look for them to come back?  Augghhh!  Well, something good happened.  Lindsey, who has worked with Judy for a long time, did indeed find the dog and bring it to us.  And we're glad, because this is a great dog!

Horatio is a very sweet Shepherd.  You can just look at that face and know that this is a dog who wants nothing more than to have a family to love.   Wouldn't you like to be part of Horatio's happy ending?

A quick daily brushing is best unless hair in the house is not a problem. They should be bathed rarely, only once or twice a year to avoid skin oil depletion. Shepherds have a life expectancy around 13 years.
