Dog for a day Update:
I had the pleasure of spending the day with little Rocco today. He is an absolute joy to be around. His puppy energy is contagious- even my 11 y/o (typically lazy/indifferent to dogs) chihuahua was up and running around with him! I think it is sad that he was returned due to "aggression" when any experienced puppy owner would recognize his behavior has "normal" puppy biting/teething that needs to be worked on and corrected. I picked him up a few chew toys to distract him with when he got too mouthy- he LOVED them! I could imagine his nipping/mouthiness would not be ideal in a situation with a young child, but with some patience and understanding of his age/breed, I'm sure he'd grow out of it fairly quickly. Chihuahuas are interesting little ones!

Rocco was surrendered to Pet Rescue by Judy by his owners. They were moving and not able to take him.  Rocco is house trained, likes other dogs and cats.  His previous owners told us he is good with another dog as a companion, but it is not required.
