Description:

This is beautiful Lucky.   Lucky got adopted out when she was 2 years old to a wonderful man who cared for her as long as he could.   Unfortunately, the time came that he could no longer care for Lucky.   So his baby was surrendered to us.   Lucky is very very sweet.   She has an issue with her back leg from an old injury.  We have taken her to our vet and Lucky does not seem to be in any distress at all but she does have arthritis and is on special food that will help her with the arthritis.  Pet Rescue by Judy did have xrays done.  She walks around and in the cat room we can all say she is the sweetest senior girl around.  If you are interested in fostering or adopting Lucky please put an application in.   Or please feel free to come into our kitty kingdom and visit her.  All Lucky  needs is a quiet home and to give love to someone else.  She would be best as the only pet in the home.

This is a note from Lucky's previous owners:

Hi..my name is Lucky. Nine years ago I earned my name when my human-dad adopted me from a shelter. He had just lost his wife of 55 years and we both needed each other…we both were lucky to find each other. This last year, my human-dad fell ill and needed to be placed in an assistive living facility but I was LUCKY to be able to go with him.  Almost two months ago he was not doing well and required a move to a rehabilitation center. I have been in our room since then without him and waiting for his return. I have been taken care of with visitors four times a week and someone to feed me daily so I am not being ignored but I do miss my human-dad. Unfortunately now my human-dad is still not well enough to return and thus we cannot live together anymore. I am very sad.
I am hoping that I will again be LUCKY enough to find a loving person or family to share the remainder of my life with. I am gentle, get along with other cats and of course, love human interaction. I will greet you at the door with my meow that says “I am happy to see you!”  and play hide and seek every day since I like to hide under the comforters.
Please let the LUCK continue and let’s be there for each other moving forward.  I will make you happy!
LUCKY
