Grenadine was rescued from a county animal services because of her shyness and it would not have been in her best interest to be put up for adoption there. In the small amount of time we have had her we have noticed she is fearful of new people, we do not know if that is because she was abused but once you sit with her and take time to talk to her she comes around and is very loving. She will need an owner who will be patient with her knowing her past was probably not the best and willing to take the time she needs to become the great dog we know she can be. An owner with breed experience would be preferred.
