1/4/18 Sadly, Ross was returned to us today from his adopted parents... Because of Ross' puppy tendencies, the family felt that he was too much for them to handle. Though Ross is very sweet, he needs someone who has time to exercise with him every day and has the time and patience to work on basic training with him. He has not been given much puppy training and is a big furball of energy~He loves to play rough and another active, adult dog of his own size in the home would be great to model proper canine behavior and pack order.
A tired dog is a well behaved dog! New owners need be aware Ross needs lots of activity and socialization with new people, animals, and environments. He would do best with an owner who has alpha/dominant breed experience. Small children are not advised. He is a typical puppy who, with training, will become a great companion!
Ross and his 5 siblings were born in a high kill shelter. We brought their mom Rayna and all of the pups to come live with us. Ross and his siblings are typical happy go lucky puppies with tons of energy, kisses, and snuggles to give. Ross would thrive in a family environment or as a companion for one human to love him :) Fill out an application to get approved to take this lover boy home with you!
