Lucy is very much like a cat. She loves to rub up on your legs and follow you around everywhere. She is highly affectionate and loves to be pet and to sit in your lap. She loves to cuddle and sleep on the couch. She has a lot of energy and is always very excitable. She loves to go for walks and has a nice prance. She does not pull, but will sometimes try to walk in front of you. Her favorite thing is walking, running, and rolling around in tall grass. She gets so excited when we go for walks. She is housetrained and crate trained . She will also enter her crate willingly and does okay to be left alone for periods of time. She gets so excited to see you.
She is a great eater. She loves to eat and is very food motivated. However, she may need to lose a few pounds.
She was perfect when I groomed her, gave her a bath, and when our vet tech cut her nails. She showed no aggression at all and was fairly calm. When I was giving her a bath, I used a fine comb and she allowed me to get knots out of her tail with no problem. She loves to be brushed with a thick brush or grooming glove.
She is good with dogs of all sizes. We brought her into the cat room and she completely ignored them. When they ran from her she did not chase them. If you have cats, if they're not used to dogs, they may be startled by her bouncy energy.
