Foster update 9/22/18:
Preacher does not like car rides or crowds. He will need training in these areas. Not sure what happened to him before he came to PRBJ, poor guy:( He enjoys playing with other dogs and really would thrive in a home with another canine buddy~
UPDATE 4/19/18: I spent the night at a potential foster home but it did not work out. I was good with the kids but not with the man in the house. I did not bite, but I think I made him uncomfortable with my growl. I would prefer a women only home who I can give all the love in me to her only. I slept with their daughter and was fine, but I prefer a one person, women, owner. I know you are out there and I hope we find each other soon.
Hi! My name is Preacher, I have lots of love and companionship to give but it seems like no one will take it. I've lived in and out of kill shelters for most of my life until I got adopted by my last owner but she left me because her landlord didn't want me there. I'm shy and timid at first because I've never had the chance to truly trust and bond with someone. If only someone could love me enough to see my true personality I know they wouldn't let me go. I think a family with another friendly dog could really boost my confidence. I haven't been around many kids but if they are gentle and caring I'm sure I'll love them.
