Dog for a Day Update: When picking up Apple from the shelter, he showed excitement and appeared happy to be taken out. We were in a car for about ~40 mins until we arrived at our destination. Throughout the drive, Apple was very well behaved in the car. He watched through the window for a little bit, but for majority of the time he was laying quietly in the backseat. Once we got to our destination, we played fetch for a little bit. I was expecting Apple's activity level to be a bit higher. We played for only a few minutes and then he looked tired and ready to settle. Even with a huge backyard available to us, he preferred to lay down by the shade. He is VERY lovely dog, with a good heart probably as big as his size :) I'm hoping he finds a home soon.

04/18/2019: Apple Bottom Jeans (ABJ) was abandoned by his owner, and thank goodness through his microchip, he found his way back to Pet Rescue by Judy.
Since he has been back with us, he has been a great dog. He loves to go out and play with the other dogs. He is such a sweet, goofy boy and he is a staff/volunteer favorite. He is a very active boy and would be a great running partner! Apple is also crate trained. Apple is hoping someone will discover he is a keeper and come and meet him. If you are interested in him please put an application in.

Apple Bottom Jeans and his siblings came to us with their mom, Amora, when they were 5 days old.
